SOMO is a technology intermediary / marketplace platform only. We connect vehicle owners with independent parking space providers. SOMO does not own, operate, or manage any parking facility. We are not responsible for any theft, damage, vandalism, fire, flood, accident, or any other physical loss or harm to your vehicle or belongings while parked at a partner's premises. Park at your own risk after verifying the facility.
SOMO ("we", "us", "our") is a technology intermediary and online parking marketplace that connects customers looking for parking with independent partners who own or manage parking spaces. SOMO acts solely as a facilitator / mediator between both parties. SOMO does not own, operate, control, or manage any parking facility listed on the platform.
You must provide a valid Indian mobile number to create an account. You are responsible for all activity under your account. One account per phone number. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
All bookings are subject to availability. Prices are set independently by parking partners and displayed at the time of booking. Payments are processed through a PCI-compliant secure payment gateway (Razorpay). SOMO charges a platform fee on each transaction. Prices shown include all applicable taxes (GST).
100% refund if cancelled before partner confirms OTP or within 15 minutes of check-in. 70% refund if cancelled between 15–30 minutes after check-in. No refund after 30 minutes or once the booking period ends. All refunds are processed to the original payment source within 5–7 business days.
SOMO is strictly a technology platform / intermediary and bears NO responsibility whatsoever for: (a) theft, burglary, or robbery of your vehicle or any items inside it; (b) damage to your vehicle including scratches, dents, fire, flooding, or vandalism; (c) loss of personal belongings left in the vehicle; (d) accidents or injuries within the parking premises; (e) any other physical loss or harm arising from your use of a partner's parking facility. The parking partner (space owner) is solely and exclusively responsible for the safety, security, and maintenance of their facility. Customers must inspect and satisfy themselves about a facility's security (CCTV, guards, lighting, etc.) before parking. SOMO strongly recommends maintaining comprehensive vehicle insurance.
SOMO facilitates the discovery and booking of parking spaces but is not a party to the service agreement between the customer and the parking partner. By using SOMO, you acknowledge that SOMO is merely providing a platform and technology service. Any claims arising from the physical parking service must be directed to the parking partner directly. SOMO may assist in mediation but is not obligated to compensate for any partner-side failures.
Partners are independent service providers and must ensure their parking facility is safe, well-maintained, legally compliant, and accurately described on the platform. Partners are solely responsible for the amenities they list (CCTV, EV charging, security guards, etc.), honoring all confirmed bookings, and the physical safety of vehicles on their premises. Misrepresentation of facilities may result in immediate account suspension.
Customers must arrive within the booked time slot and share the verification OTP with the partner. Overstaying beyond the booked duration may incur additional charges. Customers must follow the parking rules of the facility. Reckless driving within parking premises is prohibited. Customers are responsible for ensuring their vehicle is properly locked and secured.
We collect your phone number, name, email, GPS location, booking history, and vehicle preferences. GPS is used only to show nearby parking spots and is not tracked continuously. Payment data is handled by Razorpay — we never store card or UPI details. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. You may request data deletion by emailing support@somopark.com.
The SOMO Wallet stores platform credits and can be used for future bookings. Top up anytime via UPI, cards, or net banking. Wallet credits are non-transferable and cannot be withdrawn as cash. Unused credits do not expire.
SOMO provides the platform "as is" without any warranty, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SOMO shall not be liable for: (a) vehicle damage, theft, fire, flood, or any physical loss at partner premises; (b) partner unavailability, overbooking, or facility misrepresentation; (c) payment gateway downtime or transaction failures; (d) GPS inaccuracy. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is strictly limited to the platform fee component of the booking in question — not the full booking amount.
For booking disputes, raise a dispute within 48 hours via the app or email support@somopark.com. SOMO will mediate in good faith between customers and partners but cannot guarantee any particular outcome. If mediation fails, disputes shall be governed by the laws of India and resolved under the jurisdiction of courts in Hyderabad, Telangana.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be notified via in-app notification.
